During Covid-19
At this time you may be needing a clean, quiet place to self-isolate safely or while being available to help loved ones in Victoria. Our downtown condo is a haven of peace in the heart of the Old Town. This lovely suite comes with a spacious, non-ground floor patio facing a rooftop garden, and has secure parking. Extras include a cozy electric fireplace, wifi, & Netflix. While some of the usual Victoria attractions are temporarily closed, it's a wonderful place to cozy up in front of the fireplace, watch free Netflix movies or read the current books in our library! During this time booking are being taken for 4-28 days periods only. From July onward bookings require 2 day minimum to 28 maximum.
This rental is for short term rentals of minimum 3 to maximum 28 days until end of June 2020 then 2 day minimum to maximum 28 days onward.

The Location
The location of our lovely new condo is hard to beat! A haven of peace in the heart of Chinatown, this lovely apartment comes with a spacious, non-ground floor patio overlooking a garden and secure parking. Extras include a cozy electric fireplace, bone china dishes, and a safe for your valuables. Take the bus around or enjoy relaxing strolls to cafes and restaurants, great shopping, theatres and the Inner Harbour!
The Space
This home-away-from-home exudes a feeling of welcome and relaxation. Virtually all furnishings and decor have just been purchased brand new, and great care has been taken to ensure quality and comfort. The ultra comfy pillow top queen size mattress and pillows, and the luxurious pure cotton bedding invite you to enjoy refreshing nights of sleep. The queen size sofa bed is also by far the most comfortable one we could find, both as a sofa or as a bed, so your guests or family members should sleep as restfully as you will!
Wake up and treat yourself to a soak in the tub or an invigorating shower, and then help yourself to coffee or tea. The kitchen includes full size appliances (fridge, stove/oven, microwave) as well as small appliances and pots & pans, so feel free to cook to your heart's content. Need some clean laundry on your trip? The stacked washer/dryer with detergent is available for your use.
Highspeed Wi-fi is included! And if you'd like, relax and choose from the extensive programming (for all ages) on the 40" TV. For your security we have also included a digital safe large enough for your laptop and other valuables. Enjoy too some of the little extras we have chosen to include--which you'll have to visit to find out about.

Damage Deposit
We collect a refundable $500 damage deposit on all rentals. This will be indicated as Damage Deposit (Refundable) and is non-taxable on your booking.
This will normally be refunded to your payment source within 7 days of departure date unless there is a damage claim pending.
Guest Access
During the COVID-19 Crisis we will allow you to self check in and will provide a full orientation by phone.
Once things are back to normal then
either Rosemary or Gary will meet you in person at the building entrance at the time we mutually agree on. After that, with your 'fob' you can easily access the secure building and your safe underground parking space.
Interaction with Guests
We will do our best to make you feel welcome, to answer any questions you may have, and to be reachable as needed. We both are very well travelled, and always love meeting new people from all different countries and backgrounds!
Other Things To Note
When you request to book a stay in our condo, please also tell us about yourself and those who may be travelling with you. And kindly include the purpose(s) of your trip--i.e. what you are coming to Victoria for.
Please note that the condo and patio and complete building are no smoking areas. This is a strata building rule and we are subject to a $200 fine for violating this. This fine will be passed on to the renter if this occurs as well as costs to remove the smoke smell from the condo.
