Originally built in 1870, the renovated Antigone’s House is 1,329 feet above sea level and in the centre of Spilia village. It offers a traditional self-catered accommodation with a flat-screen TV, DVD/CD player and fireplace.
Decorated with antique furniture, old artifacts and handmade needle craft, this apartment includes a fully equipped kitchen, seating area and patio surrounded by colourful flowers. The bedroom is fitted with a wrought iron bed and the private bathroom includes a shower. Towels and sheets are provided.
A homemade breakfast is prepared daily. A Mediterranean-style lunch or dinner can be served upon request.
Guests can take part in agricultural activities in the private fields, bake bread in a wood burning oven or even produce local wine in the private winery. There is also an on-site shoemaker museum that has been put together by the owners.
