The 4.000m2 garden is beautifully landscaped with walkways and a fine collection of palms (the owner's hobby). The bungalow is also ideal for a long winter stay, hibernation, or wintering in the Algarve, Portugal. In the winter months, while you are on your long winter holiday in the Algarve. you can comfortably heat Vila Maria with infrared panels, the cosy wood-burning stove, and with the air conditioning.

The villa is very private and quiet yet not isolated and can be reached by a narrow country road just 300m away from the road to Benagil and Carvoeiro. Just 800m from the sandy beaches Benagil and Praia do Carvalho and just minutes from other, larger beaches such as Praia da Marinha and Praia Centeanes in Carvoeiro, the lovely fishing village with many restaurants, shops, and cafes. In Benagil, at a 4 minutes drive, there are several restaurants to serve you a wonderful dinner, chicken Piri-Piri, cataplana, or a wide choice of fish. Pets allowed.
Villa Maria is only 45 minutes away from Faro airport, is centrally located and the nearest golf course (par 3 and 9 holes) is located a 2 minutes drive away and the Gramacho and Pestana golf courses are reached in about 8 minutes more. For the kids there’s plenty of entertainment in the immediate vicinity; boat trips along with the Algarve caves, water park Slide & Splash in Estombar, and Alcantarilha, Zoo-Marine in Guia, where also the Crazy World minigolf and go-kart track is found.
